The Upper Quarter:
Quality Continuing Education for Neurorehabilitation Professionals
Course Description
Whether to satisfy our needs, interests, or curiosities, our remarkable ability to reach into our environment begins in the upper quarter of the human movement system. In the shoulder complex, the shoulder joint itself is only one of four articulations involved and the many muscles that move the joint rarely act in isolation. Understanding the complexity and the cooperative nature of the entire upper quarter is necessary to perform effectively as neurorehabilitation professionals. In this course, kinesioanalysis will be used to study the interactions of the joints and muscles to apply to clinical reasoning, clinical choices, and clinical applications.
