With 25 years of experience, Jason has explored a myriad of work roles and personal and professional development opportunities. These have included positions as a practicing physical therapist, educator, speaker, coach, as well as in healthcare management, business operations, quality improvement, research, advanced practice and program development. He currently manages a cross-continuum interprofessional neurorehabilitation program, owns and operates NeuroPro Therapy and Metrix Professional Services for private therapy, as well as NeuroPro Education. Jason completed his Physical Therapy degree graduating summa cum laude with great distinction from McGill University.

In management, Jason has been an agent of change and innovation in the healthcare system. He has looked for opportunities to establish new roles, develop staff, change patient outcomes, design unique services, and has been a consultant for other health organizations. As a voracious reader and learner at leadership events, he has shared this with those to whom he provides leadership and career coaching.

In clinical practice, Jason has worked throughout the continuum from critical care to acute to inpatient rehab to outpatients to home health. At NeuroPro Therapy and Metrix Professional Services, Jason works with clients in their home and community environments who have "plateaued" and been discharged. They range from low level non-ambulatory clients to high level clients who need to be challenged in more extreme sports, functional tasks and work environments. Jason begins with the expectation that all clients will return to meaningful life roles, their interests and find enjoyment once more.

In teaching, Jason has been a presenter and keynote at numerous conferences, an educator for several different colleges/universities/organizations, and an instructor for the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association (NDTA). He has designed curriculum, has been published, and has led the development of stroke rehabilitation best practice guidelines. Jason’s passion is to experiment with active learning strategies to create a fun learning environment that will inspire participants to change their practice.

When not at work, Jason never rests as he pursues his interests in coaching, reading, playing sports and traveling.
